Project Overview

Prism Tower, a 42-story, 478-foot residential landmark by Christian de Portzamparc for Toll Brothers City Living, Equity Residential, and DeSimone, required careful coordination across challenging subsurface and transit conditions. FNA secured NYCT existing-conditions records, negotiated subway-easement volume, and delivered Support of Excavation (SOE) engineering with rakers, walers, soldier piles, lagging, tiebacks, piers, and underpinning. FNA also coordinated the design of the new subway entrance and stairs at E. 28th St. and Park Ave., while special inspections for shoring and underpinning supported safety, compliance, and construction certainty.
