Project Overview

262 Fifth Avenue, designed by SLCE Architects for Five Points Development, is a 54-story mixed-use tower on a 12,524-square-foot Manhattan site surrounded by existing commercial and residential buildings. Two cellar levels meant the excavation had to resist full lateral earth pressures and surcharge loads while protecting adjacent properties and utilities. FNA engineered the Support of Excavation (SOE), designed temporary shoring systems, and coordinated city agency submissions to support safe, code-compliant construction.
