Dr. Ahmed Abdelmohsen
Biography
Dr. Ahmed Abdelmohsen is a licensed civil engineer with more than 20 years of design and management experience across New York, New Jersey, and internationally. His practice spans support of excavation (SOE) and geostructural design, geotechnical instrumentation, shallow and deep foundation systems, preparation and peer review of site-specific seismic analyses, as well as performance and supervision of construction field inspection services. Trained to doctoral level in civil engineering, Dr. Abdelmohsen brings analytical depth and technical precision to every engagement – from finite-element computer modeling and geotechnical report preparation to peer review of construction specifications and monitoring of structures during construction. At FNA, he leads the firm's technical direction, business development strategy, and MTA approval negotiations – overseeing the full scope of the firm's engineering practice while driving its expansion in discipline, depth, and reach across every market it enters.
